Hi everyone! The whole week has gone by and we haven't given an update. Here's a picture of Laura from last night. Just yesterday I decided she was starting to look a little different (older?). I really want her to stay so small and lovable and tiny forever! This week she had a couple of "firsts": on Tuesday, her umbilical cord stump fell off. Her bellybutton looks like a combo innie/outie. On Wednesday, dad gave her a bottle for the first time. She finished it like a champ!
I hate to even blog about this for I fear the tides will turn, but she really has been such a good baby. She rarely fusses except for the diaper changes, and she loves sleeping. A lot of my books say not to tell other parents how well your child sleeps because they will not like to hear it! We will just say mom and dad are getting close to the same amount of sleep they did P.L. (Pre-Laura), albeit with an interruption here and there in the night.
Thanks to everyone for all of the packages in the mail! It has been much more fun lately to have cards and cute outfits to open instead of junk mail. Checking the mailbox has been exciting every day! Have a good weekend, everybody.

She looks more like a little person already! OMG.
I also believe I have a combo innie/outie. There are other Mason body oddities I intend to examine her for the next time I see her (don't be scared).
She seems like such a doll. SO CUTE and so good. PS, you are NOT supposed to send a thank-you note when you HAVE A NEW BABY! But it was sweet to get. But don't do that again, you are busy babying baby L!
