Laura is Ten Months Old!

Happy 10 months, Laura Lynn! You are on the verge of moving; oh so close, but not there yet. I suspect this was your last month of limited mobility. Baby gates, here we come. Here's the recap of month 10, with a new feature: Any new tricks? This is really for Grandpa Glenn, who asks all the time if Laura has "new tricks." There wasn't much to say in the early months on that front, but more and more she does figure out new things she can do.

Height: 27.5 inches

Weight: 17 lbs., 6 oz.

Likes: Chatting in bed, standing and playing at her musical table, emptying her diaper changing basket, crackers, yogurt, grilled cheese, any food mom or dad is eating, her "Sweet Pea" baby from Great-Grandma M, pulling off her socks, and swimming/baths

Dislikes: Pancakes, getting face wiped up after eating, winter gear

Any new tricks?: Laura can clap and wave (with prompts and extensive modeling!), say "ma-ma" AND we just heard "da-da" last night when she was chatting in bed, put her knees and feet out behind her now (this is how we know crawling is coming soon; she could never get to this step before), move from lying on her tummy to sitting up, throwing food (Mom and Dad disapprove of this trick)
