The objective for this piece was to ask fathers (new and experienced) for a little advice on being a parent. Here are some of the questions I asked...
- What do you know now that you wish you did then?
- What are some of the uncertainties I should be prepared for?
- Any general advice
Even though, I have only four men on camera that doesn't mean YOU can't add any additional advice. Please publish a response if you so choose.
Again, many thank yous to Jeremy, Grandpa's B and M, and Uncle Scott for participating in this video! I really do appreciate your advice and words of wisdom!
A very special thank you to Grandpa B. Your advice in this piece was short but for the last 30 years, I couldn't have asked for a better role model. You are the standard by which I will judge my parenting and husband skills. From the years of running to the door so excited to see you to knowing that you were in attendence at all my sporting events to me becoming a husband and father, I have clearly noticed all along the way you instituted a selflessness "family-first" way of parenting that I can only hope to emulate. I am sincerely grateful to have you and mom in my life. P.S. Thank you for those kind, encouraging words you placed in my parenting book. I hope I can live up to them!!!
