Mom turned 30 years old today! Happy Birthday Mom!!!
She is having friends over at our house in a few hours. The highlight of the day, besides Mom turning 30, is the selection of "dessert treats" she prepared this morning. Dad contributed by baking chocolate chip brownies, a Barefoot Contessa recipe. Laura, did you know that Dad has mastered making brownies and a double layered cake? Watch out Ace of Cakes' guy!
Oh yes, Mom, Dad and Laura will enjoy dinner with Grandpa/Grandma M at Tavern on France in Edina this evening.

Happy birthday Laura's Mom! Thanks for inviting me to the par-tay and sorry again for my lateness. It was a fabulous get-together though and I had a LOT of fun. (And ate well besides - you're the best baker. Oh, and so's Father B.) I forgot to kiss little Laura on the head though!! (Jeff says I must do this every time I see her.) SHOOT! Next time. We'll have to have you all over soon.
