I have not done a good job at keeping up with these monthly posts! I'm going to put up the 9 month one and maybe do some backtracking or perhaps combining months to get caught up.
Height: 29 in. (66th %ile)
Weight: 18 lbs. (18th %ile)
Likes: Eating. Ryan knows high chair = food and completely freaks out if you aren't shoveling food into his mouth the second you buckle him in there. He likes pretty much everything we've given him - fruits, veggies, bread, pasta, yogurt, cheese. He was even eating the beans and rice from my Chipotle dinner the other night! Crawling, air vents, Elmo toy in the kitchen, playing with Laura, having a bottle to fall asleep, putting everything in his mouth, splashing in the tub, peek-a-boo, "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," chewing on socks, growling, rocking his carseat
Dislikes: Laying still for a diaper change, waiting for food, running out of food, sitting still
Any new tricks? Ryan gets up on his hands and knees often now but still doesn't like to crawl that way, transitions easily from lying down to sitting, he has eaten some more "solid" foods, pulling up on his knees, standing (!) in his crib, just tonight was raising his arms up in response to "How big is Ryan?"
As of this week, he is no longer the "baby" at daycare. A 3 month old has started, and Carla thinks Ryan looks huge compared to him! In addition to Ryan, he is known as "Ry-Ry" - his first nickname from daycare (the little girls call him that), "Ry-Roo" - nickname courtesy of dad; this one is my favorite and I probably call him this more often than Ryan, and "Rocker Man" (also a daycare name) because of the way he rocks his baby carseat back and forth. He has even tipped himself over backward a couple of times because he was rocking so wildly!

A great Ryan update! Love the Badger jammies and hope to see him in them - super cute!
He is growing way too fast - such an adorable and sweet little boy.
Love,
Grandma Barb
Thumbs up on growling.
