Ryan is 5 Months!

In case you were wondering, yes, Ryan did also turn 4 months with no post...I do eventually backtrack and catch up, but we are in the midst of conference time and that's just not happening right now!  You'll have to look back once I get it together.

Likes: being entertained by Laura (just silly talk/noises/actions), chewing on toys, chewing on hands, chewing on feet, chewing on clothes...are you sensing a theme here?, hearing songs, looking at books - was particularly excited the other night about Bark, George!, kicking

Dislikes: rolling around on a blanket by himself - less than he used to, anyway, waiting for food when he wants to eat



Haha, tonight we were talking about how Ryan is not as photogenic of a baby as Laura was!  He looks surprised or scared in most of the pictures we take of him.  They still make me laugh though as I think he's crazy cute.

 What's New: remember when Laura used to kick herself to sleep?  In the last week or so, after we lay Ryan down in his crib for bed or a nap, we have begun to hear that familiar "whomp-whomp" sound of Ryan raising his legs up and smacking them down again.  After a few minutes he will settle down and go to sleep.  When he's on his tummy now, he can hold most of his upper body up as opposed to just his head.  He's been more chatty lately, calling nonsensical things out in his loud baby voice.
