Laura Lynn is 3 years, 7 months!

Likes: "Stay home days" aka the weekend, getting sprinkle doughnuts at the bakery, playing pretend games with willing participants - house, "going to Carla's," and princess scenarios remain favorites, apples and carrots are the preferred fruit/veggie with dinner, Halloween cards and packages in the mail, doing things to make Ryan laugh, decorating our house for Halloween, hosting tea parties
Hostess with the mostess, tea party time

Dislikes: being served foods she does not want to eat (bit of trouble with this at daycare as she tends to burst into tears - we are "practicing" now at home), having to wear a coat/colder weather

Feeling the beat in the music tent at Emma Krumbee's
Laura is very much looking forward to Halloween.  She is going to be Rapunzel and even has a long "Rapunzel braid" to clip in her hair - "Mom!  My Rapunzel hair came in the mail!!!" (this was an exciting day in our house).  Tonight in fact she was incredibly squirmy and chatty in bed, remaining awake almost an hour after we tucked her in.  I went in and asked her what the deal was, why she wasn't falling asleep.  "Mom, I'm just so excited for Halloween and trick-or-treating!"

Gooz and her brother - "But mom, I love him!"
We get a kick out of her "Laura-isms," one of which is the use of the word import-mint, used most frequently at bedtime to justify coming out of her room.  "But mom, I have something importmint to tell you...ummm...who's taking me to Carla's tomorrow?"
